Product Description:
Beckhoff manufactures the CP6802-0000-0010 as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. This fanless panel PC combines a control-class motherboard, a display, and field connectivity inside a sealed aluminum front frame. Mounted on the machine door, it serves as the human-machine interface, presenting PLC data and accepting operator commands without the bulk of a separate computer enclosure. The unit connects directly to common machine control power, making it suitable for decentralized installation in production lines.
The display measures 15 in diagonally and uses a TFT panel, so color graphics and trend curves remain clear at the angled views common on production floors. Its native resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels aligns with legacy SCADA layouts that expect a 4:3 aspect ratio. Control electronics run from a single 24 VDC supply, so no separate AC feed or onboard power conversion is required. The laminated front sheet is rated at IP65, blocking dust and low-pressure water jets when the unit is mounted flush to the cabinet, and the absence of front keys or touch input eliminates crevices where contaminants can accumulate.
At the rear, the housing carries IP20 protection, allowing heat to dissipate into the cabinet while still shielding live boards. The casing is milled from aluminum, giving a lightweight structure that withstands vibration yet keeps panel cutout loads low. Internal wiring is presented on a compact board edge that offers DVI/USB connections to external expansion modules. System buses inside the enclosure are routed through 3 backplane connectors, and two additional USB service ports permit peripheral connection without opening the machine door. Mounting is completed from the front with pull-out clamping levers so installation time is minimized.
