Product Description:
The CP6801-0021-0010 is an industrial Panel PC built by Beckhoff as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. It integrates computing electronics and a display in a single front-mountable housing so that operators can supervise processes, enter setpoints, and acknowledge alarms directly on the production floor. By combining visualization with control connectivity, the unit reduces cabinet space and simplifies wiring while maintaining the durability required for factory automation workstations.
The operator interface is based on a 12 in diagonal screen that uses TFT technology for consistent color reproduction across wide viewing angles. Graphics are rendered at 800 x 600 pixels, a resolution that balances readable object size with modest graphics load. A resistive touchscreen replaces mechanical keys, and no front keys are provided, which eliminates moving parts at the front panel. The front bezel carries an IP65 ingress rating, so dust and water jets cannot reach the display surface or gasketed seams when the panel is properly installed. Two internal USB ports are available, and a DVI/USB combination interface on the logic board routes video and peripheral signals to external devices without separate adapters. Mounting is handled from the rear with pull-out clamping levers that secure the unit against the control cabinet door.
System power is supplied at 24 V DC, allowing the panel to share the same low-voltage rail used by sensors and PLC modules. A front-accessible USB-A socket allows recipe uploads or log-file retrieval without opening the cabinet. The chassis is milled from aluminum, providing rigidity while acting as a heat spreader for the fanless electronics. Rear components are protected to IP20, consistent with installation inside an enclosure, and three rear connectors accommodate fieldbus, power, and service leads. The clamping-lever system enables quick removal during service without special tools, and the rear layout keeps all terminations outside the operator's reach.
