Product Description:
The CP6801-0011-0010 is a panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. As an integrated computer and operator display, it handles machine-level visualization, parameter entry, and data exchange with higher-level controllers on the plant network. Its integrated format combines the display and computing hardware in one enclosure, which helps conserve space on operator stations and control panels.
The front panel carries a 12 in screen that renders process graphics at 800 × 600 pixels, which is suitable for standard SCADA objects without scaling artifacts. TFT display technology supplies stable colors and wide viewing angles under typical control-room lighting. A regulated input of 24 V DC powers the CPU, display backlight, and I/O interface, removing the need for internal AC conversion. Continuous operation is permitted from 0 to 55 °C, so the unit can operate inside electrical enclosures with filtered cabinet airflow. The backplane provides 3 connectors for Beckhoff fieldbus or additional I/O cards, while two internal USB ports accommodate service dongles, data log storage, or wireless adapters without exposing cables at the bezel. Pull-out clamping levers secure the chassis to the cabinet door and allow tool-free replacement of the unit.
The aluminum housing gives mechanical strength and acts as a heat sink; the front face is sealed to IP65, blocking dust and water jets encountered on production floors, while the rear electronics section is rated IP20 for cabinet-protected environments. The conductive surface of the Aluminum enclosure also assists in electromagnetic shielding when grounded through the mounting frame. Internal cabling stays fixed during vibration because the clamping levers apply uniform pressure around the gasket. This even clamping pressure helps the panel remain seated securely in the cabinet cutout during normal machine operation.
