Product Description:
The CP6801-0001-0010 is a built-in Panel PC from Beckhoff’s CP Panel PC Systems series. Housed behind a sealed front bezel, it integrates computing, visualization, and operator input so that machinery can be supervised, parameterized, and diagnosed without a separate box PC. The device is intended for mounting directly in the door or wall of an enclosure, where it functions as the primary human-machine interface for PLC-based production equipment.
The operator side centers on a 12 in diagonal screen that uses TFT technology to render color graphics at 800 x 600 pixels. A resistive touchscreen overlays the panel, letting operators issue commands by touch rather than through a hardwired keypad. Front sealing rated at IP65 keeps dust and spray from reaching the display and electronics, making the unit suitable for washdown cabinet doors. Internal electronics are supplied from a single 24 VDC source, so the system draws power from the same low-voltage rail that feeds sensors, fieldbus couplers, and servo drives.
The rear side of the assembly carries machine-room connections and protection. A cast front frame and rear cover are milled from aluminum, giving rigidity while dissipating heat without fans. Once installed, the back of the unit meets IP20, which is appropriate for sheltered cabinet interiors. Three backplane signal boards provide 3 plug-in connectors for system expansion, and two embedded USB headers can be accessed inside the cabinet for service sticks or wireless adapters. External visual extension and peripheral connections are handled through a combined DVI/USB interface, allowing a secondary monitor or keyboard to be wired without additional converter modules. The panel is fastened from the front by pull-out clamping levers, so replacement does not require dismantling other cabinet components.
