The CP6800-0001-0000 is a panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. As a combined computer and operator display, the unit provides human-machine interface and local control capability for PLC-based production lines, conveyors, and process stations where operators need direct access to status screens and machine commands. Integrating computing hardware directly behind the screen reduces wiring and places visualization, parameter entry, and diagnostics at the front of the machine. This arrangement keeps the display and processing hardware in one unit, which simplifies front-panel operation in space-limited equipment.
At just 32 mm deep, the housing supports built-in mounting so the assembly sits flush with the cabinet door. The anodized bezel protects a 10 in TFT screen that accepts touch input, and the front carries an IP65 rating for use in washdown-prone areas while the rear IP20 zone is intended for sheltered electrical spaces. Standard operating power is 24 VDC and is delivered through a 2-pole WAGO Cage Clamp connection. Two USB Type B service ports are available; each supports the controller’s maximum USB rate of 12 Mbit/s for data backup, and the pair of ports allows separate connections for peripherals during setup or file transfer. For extended visualization, the integrated graphics adapter offers a DVI-D output, allowing an additional monitor to mirror or expand the primary display.
The required panel cutout is 370 mm wide and 336 mm high, giving adequate screen borders for sealing gaskets without enlarging the machine envelope. The casing is milled from Aluminum, which provides rigidity, electromagnetic shielding, and thermal conduction while keeping the enclosure suitable for fixed industrial mounting. A dedicated ground bolt permits protective earthing of the metalwork to the control cabinet, completing the safety path for faults on the 24 V circuit and supporting proper bonding of the installed panel. The metal enclosure also helps support stable mounting in control cabinet doors and fixed operator panels.
