The CP6702-1028-0040 is an industrial panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. When installed in a control cabinet door or operator station, it functions as a direct HMI and edge computer, executing automation tasks while providing real-time feedback to operators.
Operation is supplied from a 24 VDC field power rail, eliminating the need for separate AC conversion hardware. The enclosure uses a fanless thermal path that relies on internal heat spreaders, so no moving parts are added to the cabinet. A TFT panel forms the integrated screen, giving clear color rendering for process graphics. Four USB receptacles follow the USB 2.0 standard, allowing connection of keyboards, service sticks, or barcode readers. Network traffic is handled through two RJ-45 jacks that support 10/100/1000BASE-T data rates, permitting direct linkage to EtherCAT segments or corporate Ethernet.
