Product Description:
The CP6702-0001-0050 is a fanless panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. By combining processing electronics with a 7-inch display behind an aluminum bezel, the device serves as a local human-machine interface and an IEC 61131-3 controller for distributed I/O stations. The panel mounts on the front door of a cabinet, allowing plant personnel to view processes, acknowledge alarms, and adjust parameters without opening the enclosure. Its fanless design also eliminates moving cooling components and allows the system to dissipate heat without forced airflow.
It operates from a regulated 24 VDC supply, enabling direct connection to common control-panel power rails. Networking is handled by two RJ45 sockets that support 10/100/1000BASE-T transmission rates, allowing the panel to communicate with control networks and distributed automation equipment. The panel provides four USB 2.0 ports for removable media, input devices, and service tools. A single DVI-I connector drives an external monitor when additional display space is required. The laminated front bezel has an IP65 protection rating, which blocks dust and low-pressure water jets when the unit is properly gasketed to the machine door. This sealed front surface supports operation in industrial areas where the operator interface may be exposed to moisture or airborne contaminants.
The CP6702 remains operational at temperatures from 0 °C to 55 °C and at noncondensing relative humidity levels as high as 95%. Although the front face is sealed, the rear housing has an IP20 rating, so it must be installed inside an enclosure that protects it from airborne debris and moisture. During transportation or operation, the electronics can withstand a shock pulse of 5 G for 30 ms. The unit also tolerates a random vibration envelope of 0.035 mm from 10 to 58 Hz and 0.5 G from 58 to 500 Hz. Its mass of 6.3 kg must be considered when selecting mounting brackets and preparing the cabinet door. Secure mounting helps keep the panel stable while machinery is operating and prevents excessive loading around the installation opening.
