The CP6701-0001-0010 is an industrial panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines a touchscreen front end with an integrated controller so that HMI functions and real-time control tasks can run on the same hardware. Designed for mounting on machine doors or control cabinets, the unit provides local visualization and direct fieldbus communication, removing the need for a separate embedded PC in compact automation cells.
External display support is handled through 1 x DVI-I, allowing a secondary monitor when extended operator workspaces are required. Two RJ-45 connectors implement Gigabit networking over the 10/100/1000BASE-T standard; this link speed is useful for fast PLC program downloads and large recipe transfers. Four Type-A ports follow the USB 2.0 specification, giving attachment points for service sticks or input devices. The computer accepts a 24 VDC supply, matching most control-cabinet power buses. Its aluminum front panel carries a protection class of IP65, which seals the screen and push-button area against dust and water jets during washdown. Internally, a 3.5-inch motherboard hosts the CPU and I/O, while mass storage resides on a 2.5-inch HDD or SSD. A removable CFast card holds the operating system. The rear housing meets IP20, which is adequate for cabinet interiors where heavy particulate exposure is unlikely. Continuous operation is specified up to 55 °C, and the electronics tolerate non-condensing ambient moisture as high as 95%, enabling use in humid processing areas. With a mass of 4.9 kg, the panel does not place excessive load on hinged doors during cabinet installation. Passive convection cooling eliminates fan maintenance, and the use of Ethernet controllers with CFast storage minimizes rotating components during continuous operation.
