Product Description:
The CP6700-0001-0050 is a fanless Panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as a combined operator interface and control computer, it mounts directly on a control cabinet door. It runs embedded TwinCAT automation software to supervise machine sequences, log data, and present process graphics to plant personnel. Combining the display interface and computing functions in one door-mounted unit reduces the amount of separate control equipment required inside the cabinet.
This model is fitted with DDR3L RAM for main memory, and a single CFast slot provides solid-state mass storage so the operating system and application data remain resistant to vibration. Video is delivered through one DVI output, enabling direct connection to an external monitor for extended visualization. The four USB 2.0 ports are accessible from the front, and each port supplies up to 500 mA for devices such as barcode scanners or service drives. Network integration uses two RJ45 sockets driven by an Intel i210 MAC/PHY. Link negotiation supports 100/1000 Mbit/s, and cable runs can extend up to 100 m without repeaters. The input stage tolerates line power transients from the control cabinet’s 24 V rail, while the 8 A plug-in connector simplifies wiring. The supply terminal accepts conductors with a maximum cross-sectional area of 1.5 mm², matching commonly used DIN-rail terminal blocks.
Electrical operation is based on a nominal supply of 24 V DC. The rear housing has an ingress protection rating of IP20, so the unit must be installed within an enclosed control cabinet. Its aluminum chassis withstands transportation shocks of up to 5 G, protecting internal components while the system is moved or installed. A system mass of 1.8 kg limits the load placed on cabinet doors and articulated hinges. Continuous operation is supported at ambient humidity levels of up to 95 percent when condensation is not present. The twin Ethernet connections use shielded sockets to help isolate network communication from electrical noise generated by nearby automation equipment.
