Installed in a control cabinet door or operator console, it connects sensors, actuators, and supervisory networks, allowing process data to be visualized and commands to be issued directly on the production floor.
The electronics are supplied with a nominal input of 24 VDC, matching the low-voltage power rails commonly found in automation cabinets. For dust and water-splash exposure on the operating side, the front of the housing is rated at IP54, so routine washdowns will not interrupt service. System memory is based on DDR3L-RAM, a low-power variant that reduces heat generation inside the compact enclosure.
