The CP6629-0001-0000 is a compact Panel PC that Beckhoff supplies within its CP Panel PC Systems series. By combining an integrated display, embedded controller, and operator keys in one housing, the unit serves as a front-end human-machine interface for PLC-based machinery and process lines. Mounted through a cabinet door cutout, it gives operators direct visualization and local control while the backplane connections tie the terminal into the wider automation network.
At the core of the device is a 533 MHz processor based on the Intel IXP420 XScale architecture, providing sufficient performance for deterministic runtime environments such as TwinCAT CE. The system carries 128 MB of SDRAM for program execution and buffering, while its on-board flash offers 32 MB of non-volatile storage for the embedded operating system and application code.
