This CP6606-1001-0020 is a Panel PC built by to meet international standards by well-trained engineers of Beckhoff Automation. With more than three decades of experience, the company expertly combines trusted Panel technology, with the latest industrial innovation to provide a device that allow engineers to comfortably control and visualize operation in automation systems. This control panel is intended to be mounted directly in the front of a control cabinet or control housing. It has a TwinCAT automation software running on Windows Embedded compact 7 and can function as a stand-alone controller. It can also be used as a remote desktop display. Integrated into this product is a slot for a removable flash memory card that can be used to store data.

The CP6606-1001-0020 has a 7 inch screen with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It also has a touch-screen technology, which enables it to be controlled with either a finger or a stylus. The processor is an Advanced Reduced Instruction Set Computing (RISC) Machine and a Cortex-A8 series type for high performance and fast processing of data. It has Random Access Memory (RAM), and a Double Date Rate 3 (DDR3) of 1 Gigabyte that can manage data more efficiently.

This Panel PC contains a Graphics processing unit which is responsible for analyzing and processing graphics information and outputting high-quality images. The motherboard is 3.5 inches. It has one Ethernet port that is built directly into it, so it can communicate with other devices and support the transfer of data at 10 - 100 Megabytes per second. It also has an Ethernet for Control Automation Technology (EtherCAT) interface that is needed for high-speed communication in industrial automation.
