The CP6533-0001-0021 is a panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as a combined operator interface and industrial computer, the unit mounts on machinery or control cabinets to run visualization, data logging, and motion control tasks on the factory floor. Its integrated TFT display and touch screen allow machine interaction, while the alphanumeric front keyboard provides shortcut entry for common commands. By consolidating processing and HMI functions, the device simplifies wiring and shortens response paths in decentralized automation architectures.
It features a 19-inch TFT that gives a large viewing area, and the native 1280 x 1024 resolution renders process graphics with clear pixel density for diagnostics. The front panel is rated IP65, so sprayed water or dust cannot penetrate the viewing or key surfaces during washdown. Network connectivity is handled through a single 1 x RJ45 Ethernet interface that supports 10/100 Mbit links to fieldbus or SCADA hosts. Four underside USB interfaces supply peripheral power and data for barcode scanners, memory sticks, or maintenance keyboards without hubs. A resistive touch screen overlays the display, allowing menu navigation even when gloves are worn.
The internal IP-4GVIxx motherboard provides 7 ATX expansion slots for extra motion cards or fieldbus adapters. Legacy devices connect through 2 x RS232 serial ports, one LPT1 parallel interface, and two PS/2 inputs. Rear panel protection is IP20, which is suitable for installation inside a sealed cabinet where only the front is exposed. The system tolerates 95% relative humidity without condensation and withstands shocks of 5 G for 30 ms during transport. A 15-pin SUB-D VGA output mirrors the primary screen to an external monitor so process data can be viewed while the machine door is closed.
