The CP6500-1006-0020 is a panel PC produced by Beckhoff and offered in the CP Panel PC Systems series. This model merges touchscreen visualization, PC-based control hardware, and communication interfaces behind an aluminum front plate. In an automation line, it mounts on the machine door, runs TwinCAT or other soft-PLC tasks, and presents status data to the operator while eliminating cabinet-mounted industrial computers.
The front of the CP6500 carries a 10 in TFT display that sets the operator work area and corresponds to an external panel size of 370 mm by 336 mm. An ingress protection rating of IP65 is assigned to the front face, so dust and low-pressure water jets cannot reach the screen, whereas the rear section is limited to IP20 for standard control cabinet environments. Inside the housing, Beckhoff provides 7 free mainboard slots for PCI or PCIe cards, giving room for fieldbus adapters or additional storage.
