Product Description:
The CP6413-0001-0040 is a panel-mount industrial PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines visualization, soft-PLC control, and data acquisition in a single enclosure, allowing machinery operators to issue commands and monitor process variables directly from the line. This arrangement places the display and computing functions in one unit, which helps simplify machine layouts where panel space is limited.
The unit’s integrated TFT display measures 19 in, giving ample screen area for multi-window SCADA layouts. A front bezel classified at IP65 keeps dust and low-pressure water jets away from the touchscreen and function keys, so the computer can be installed on food or material-handling equipment without additional housings. With a core depth of only 79 mm, it fits shallow control cabinets, while the core width of 329 mm helps maintain airflow between adjacent devices. Despite its compact frame, the electronics and passive cooling plate bring total mass to 6.0 kg, which keeps the assembly manageable during panel installation. The core height is 303 mm, and the mounting cutout must be 449 mm by 494.4 mm to secure the rear clamps. Once seated, the assembly protrudes to an overall height of 463 mm and an overall width of 508.4 mm.
Rear enclosure protection is limited to IP20, so the cabinet interior must remain clean and dry. Expansion is supported through 4 internal PCIe or Mini-PCIe slots for supplementary I/O or fieldbus cards. Two Gigabit Ethernet controllers provide redundant or segmented networking, and they are accessed through 2 RJ-45 ports on the I/O plate. Operator peripherals such as barcode scanners or flash drives connect to 3 USB ports, while legacy instrumentation can still be serviced through a single RS-232 serial port. The five-pin power connector supplies DC input and remote on and off lines, and its threaded collar helps prevent vibration-induced disengagement.
