The CP6401-1000-0030 is an industrial Panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines an IPC motherboard with an integrated display so one device can host the operating system, real-time control software, and the operator interface needed for machine supervision. By combining computing power and visualization in an IP-rated front housing, it fits directly into control cabinets or arm mounts used on packaging, printing, and assembly equipment.
The display measures 12 in, giving a clear touchscreen area while keeping the unit compact. A 4-slot computer core accepts standard PCI cards for fieldbus or data-acquisition expansion, and the embedded CBxx50 mainboard provides the chipset and processor support. For networking, the panel includes one 1 × 10/100BASE-T Fast Ethernet interface for legacy switches and one 1 × 10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit port for higher-bandwidth plant networks. Three USB receptacles follow the USB 2.0 standard, allowing connection of scanners or service media. A single RS232 port supports older drives and sensors that still rely on serial protocols, and an external monitor output is also included so the process screen can be mirrored away from the machine.
The aluminum front carries a protection rating of IP65, guarding the display and keys against dust and low-pressure water jets, while the rear meets IP20 because it is intended for installation inside an enclosure. Mechanical depth is only 32 mm, allowing the panel to fit shallow operator stations. Front dimensions are 372.2 mm in height and 342.2 mm in width, while the mounting cutout measures 358.2 mm by 328.2 mm, which leaves a 7 mm overlap for gasket compression. Passive convection keeps internal temperatures stable, and the integrated DVI-I port maintains full graphic resolution on the secondary screen without additional adapters.
