The CP6232-0002-0000 is a Panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. This unit combines an industrial computer, networking interfaces, and a TFT display in a single front-mounted housing for machine-level visualization and control tasks within automated production lines. By integrating a touchscreen and PC in the same enclosure, it reduces cabinet wiring and allows operators to monitor processes directly at the point of installation.
The front side carries a 15 in touch display that serves as both the operator interface and the pointing device through its integrated touch function. An aluminum front bezel rated IP65 blocks dust and low-pressure water jets, so the screen can be washed down when mounted in a control panel. Internal electronics draw power from a 24 VDC supply, simplifying connection to standard control-cabinet power buses. For fieldbus or PLC connectivity, LAN1 supports 10/100BASE-T, while a second Ethernet port handles 100/1000BASE-T Gigabit traffic. Four Type-A connectors that comply with USB 2.0 allow service keyboards, data loggers, or removable storage media to be attached without opening the enclosure.
The panel body measures 489.4 mm wide and 59 mm deep, giving it a slim profile that fits into the specified 475.4 × 404.2 mm cutout and leaves room for rear cable bends. The rear housing is protected to IP20, matching typical cabinet interiors where no direct spray occurs. A digital DVI-I port is provided for an external monitor or projector, while a COM1 port using RS-232 supports legacy barcode scanners or serial sensors.
