The CP6232-0001-0020 is an industrial panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines a TFT display, computing core, and built-in operator controls so that it can function as both the user interface and control platform in automated cells, conveyor stations, or building management panels. By hosting visualization software and real-time control tasks in one enclosure, the unit streamlines cabinet design and reduces the need for separate HMI and IPC hardware on the factory floor. This integrated layout also helps simplify wiring between the display and control hardware inside the machine.
The front panel carries a 15-inch touchscreen with a native resolution of 1024 × 768, providing sufficient pixel density for process graphics and alarm lists. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports rated at 2 × 10/100/1000BASE-T support dual-network architectures, such as separating control traffic from plant IT. Four external ports specified as 4 × USB 2.0 allow connection of barcode scanners, backup drives, or maintenance keyboards. Internal processing relies on 1 GB DDR2 RAM, allowing the operating system and supervisory software to run concurrently without paging delays. The anodized aluminum front carries a protection rating of IP65, guarding the display and keys against dust and nozzle-directed water, while the rear section remains at IP20 for cabinet air cooling. A stabilized input of 24 V DC powers the motherboard, display backlight, and touch controller during normal operation. When external monitors are required, graphic data can be forwarded through 1 × DVI-D output without conversion losses.
