Product Description:
The CP6212-0001-0050 is a panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. As an integrated operator interface and controller, it combines a TFT display, touch input, and processing hardware so that machinery, production cells, or building services can be monitored and adjusted directly on the equipment floor. Its all-in-one format keeps visualization and local machine control in the same enclosure, which suits installations that need direct access at the point of operation.
The unit presents a 15-inch screen that supports a native resolution of 1024 × 768, giving operators enough pixel density for clear visualization of process graphics and alarm pages. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports rated at 2 × 10/100/1000BASE-T allow separation of control traffic from plant-wide networks, while four front-accessible 4 × USB 2.0 interfaces simplify connection of service tools and data storage. A single DVI connector drives an external monitor when the local display is not in the operator’s line of sight. Serial integration with legacy devices is handled through one RS-232 port, and the front foil carries dedicated function keys for quick actuation of frequently used commands. The projected-capacitive, single-finger touch screen gives direct interaction without requiring specialized gloves. All I/O and processing circuits draw from a stabilized 24 V DC supply so the panel can share a cabinet power bus with PLCs and field devices.
The aluminum front meets IP65 so washdown splashes or airborne dust cannot enter around the display, whereas the rear housing remains at IP20 for convection cooling inside a protected enclosure. Shock events up to 5 G, 30 ms are tolerated without display dropout, and the depth is only 59 mm, which reduces intrusion into shallow cabinets. Overall dimensions of 430.4 mm width and 403 mm height give ample screen area while leaving space for adjacent push-buttons. An M4 stud offers a dedicated ground bond to discharge static or fault currents.
