Its native resolution of 1280 x 1024 pixels retains detail for trend plots and alarm dialogs, and the 5:4 aspect ratio keeps legacy control layouts from appearing stretched. A single-touch resistive overlay permits reliable operation with gloves, and the absence of a front keyboard reduces sealing complexity around the bezel.
