Product Description:
The CP6203-0001-0000 is a panel-mount industrial PC produced by Beckhoff in the CP Panel PC Systems series. Intended for human-machine interaction, it combines an x86 computing platform with an integrated display so operators can view process variables, acknowledge alarms, review status messages, and execute control software directly at the machine front. Mounting the device in the enclosure door simplifies cabling, keeps the workstation at the point of use, and helps protect it from airborne contaminants and liquid spray present on many production floors.
The unit features a 19-inch TFT that delivers graphics at a native resolution of 1280 x 1024, giving sufficient pixel density for SCADA dialogs, recipe pages, and trend screens. Single-touch technology enables quick acknowledgment gestures, and the screen remains usable with gloved hands during routine operation. The aluminum front panel carries a sealing gasket that yields a protection class of IP65, so dust penetration and water jets do not reach the electronics from the operator side. Internal electronics draw power from a 24 V DC supply typically distributed inside low-voltage control cabinets. Networking to programmable controllers or higher-level systems is possible through two independent Gigabit interfaces, and removable media or service peripherals connect to 4 USB ports positioned on the rear panel.
Mechanical integration is governed by a cutout width of 443 mm and a cutout height of 378 mm, allowing the housing to clamp flush against the cabinet door without additional brackets. Behind the bezel, the electronics extend only 66.8 mm, which leaves room for cable bend radius and ventilation paths inside shallow enclosures where rear clearance is limited. Video duplication to remote monitors is provided by a DVI-I interface, while a single RS-232 port supports legacy field instruments that still rely on serial communication. Rear surfaces meet IP20 for controlled cabinet interiors, and the absence of a front keyboard reduces ingress points while keeping the front area easier to clean.
