Product Description:
Beckhoff’s CP6202-1070-0070 is a fanless Panel PC in the CP Panel PC Systems series. Intended for machine-level human–machine interaction, it combines an industrial touchscreen, embedded computing hardware, and field interfaces, allowing the unit to run control logic and visualize processes directly on the cabinet door or arm mount. By consolidating display, CPU, and I/O in one housing, the product simplifies installation in industrial automation cells that need compact, panel-mount computing.
The unit carries a 15-inch TFT with a 4:3 format; its native resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels supports classic SCADA layouts without scaling artifacts. When installed from the front, the aluminum bezel meets the IP65 protection rating, so liquids or dust cannot enter through the display surface. Internal electronics are supplied from a 24 V DC source and may draw up to 5.5 A at full load, figures that help size cabinet power supplies and breakers. A single 1 x DVI port mirrors the screen to an external monitor for maintenance. The compact 3.5-inch motherboard accommodates LAN1 Intel i210 and LAN2 Intel i219 controllers, and a solitary 1 x RS232 interface is available for legacy serial devices.
For data exchange, 2 x RJ45 Gigabit sockets provide independent Ethernet channels driven by the Intel i210 and i219 controllers. Operator peripherals attach through 4 x USB 3.0 receptacles that each deliver the standard 900 mA port current, while the front of the panel purposely has no keyboard to keep the face flush. Field cables exit the rear, where the enclosure carries an IP20 rating suitable for protected cabinet interiors. Security-related credentials and keys are stored in the integrated fTPM 2.0 element, giving the Panel PC hardware-based root-of-trust for encrypted communication and secure boot processes.
