Product Description:
The CP6202-0021-0040 is a Beckhoff panel-mounted computer in the CP Panel PC Systems series. Classified as an economy built-in panel PC, it combines industrial control and operator interface functions in one enclosure for machine fronts where space is limited. Its aluminum front and sheet-steel rear cover allow direct installation in switchgear doors, and the resistive touch interface gives operators a direct way to adjust setpoints, acknowledge alarms, and monitor production status without a separate HMI device.
The TFT display measures 15 in and has a native resolution of 1024 x 768, which provides adequate pixel density for SCADA graphics and trend plots. Power is supplied by a single 24 VDC source, so the unit can share the same low-voltage rail used by sensors and actuators in a control cabinet. Front-side protection is rated IP65 Front / IP20 Rear, which allows washdown cleaning on the operator side while keeping heat dissipation paths open at the rear. The unit also has two independent Gigabit interfaces rated at 2 x 10/100/1000BASE-T, supporting fieldbus tunneling, redundant network topologies, or separation between an office LAN and an isolated machine network.
For internal storage, the system accepts a 2.5-inch drive, allowing the use of solid-state media that withstands vibration common on production floors. Application files and real-time data can also reside on removable CFast cards, which provide a convenient storage option for backups and updates. Graphical output to a supervisory monitor is available through a dedicated 1 x DVI port, while legacy device integration is handled by a 1 x RS232 interface that can connect barcode scanners or simple weight transmitters. Four additional USB 2.0 ports at the rear and a single USB-A socket on the front door provide access for service media, keyboard-video-mouse extenders, or data-logging peripherals without opening the cabinet.
