Product Description:
Beckhoff’s CP6202-0000-0000 belongs to the CP Panel PC Systems series and is supplied as a panel-mounted industrial computer. The device integrates a flat display, motherboard, and field interfaces inside a slim housing so it can execute control logic while presenting operator dialogs in automated assembly lines, packaging stations, and process plants. It is intended for installation in a cabinet door or machine front panel, providing centralized visualization and supervisory control without a separate PC tower, and this integrated layout keeps the display and computing hardware in one enclosure.
The front panel measures 380 × 315 mm and fits a cabinet opening of 366 × 301 mm, so the required cutout size is clear. Inside the aluminum bezel sits a TFT screen with a diagonal of 15 in; its native resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels permits standard SCADA layouts at a 4:3 aspect ratio. No mechanical keys are placed on the front, leaving the surface sealed and easy to clean. Mounting depth is limited to 40 mm, and the total assembly depth is 59 mm, enabling retrofit into shallow doors. The system board type is CBxx50, which hosts the processor, storage, and expansion connectors, while an external monitor can be driven through DVI-I. The unit has a protection class of IP65 front, IP20 rear. All electronics are powered from a single 24 VDC source supplied by the control cabinet.
Field networking and peripheral access are handled through several dedicated interfaces. Two independent NICs provide 10/100BASE-T and 100/1000BASE-T communications, supporting both legacy switches and gigabit backbones. Four downstream ports marked as 4 × USB 2.0 allow attachment of barcode scanners, memory sticks, or service keyboards. A legacy serial channel remains available through a 1 × RS232 socket for older devices that still rely on point-to-point communication. Power enters by way of an 8-pin, 16 A connector, giving enough current margin for the panel electronics and USB-powered accessories.
