The CP6201-0001-0070 Panel is a robust, high quality Panel PC System made by Beckhoff. Beckhoff is a well-known company which manufactures products for use in industrial automation.
The CP6201-0001-0070 panel interface allows basic touch interaction using one finger or an optional touch pad which is suitable for simple input tasks and navigation. It functions on a direct current (DC) power source at 24 volts. The module has a built-in controller that supports RAID 1 (mirroring), which means it can duplicate data across two drives for better data protection in case of disk failure. It is designed to work reliably in environments ranging from 0…55°C. The panel graphics are handled by the CPU itself, not a separate graphics card which is efficient and reduces cost and heat. It has a dual core processor from Intel’s energy efficient Celeron line which is suitable for basic computing and control tasks. The module front is highly resistant to dust and water jets (IP65) which makes it durable in dirty or wet environments. It comes with two built in ethernet ports that support both 100 Mbps and 1 Gbps speeds which allows for fast, redundant or dual network connectivity.
The CP Panel PC Systems series model offers modern (USB 3.0) and legacy (RS232 serial) ports for connecting a wide range of peripherals and also a DVI output for an external display. The module front is made from durable, corrosion resistant aluminum for strength and appearance, while the back is steel for structural support and cost effectiveness.
