Product Description:
The CP6201-0001-0060 is an industrial panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines an integrated touchscreen display, computing hardware, and fieldbus connections in a single front-mount housing for machine-side operation. By placing processing power directly on the control cabinet door or operator station, the unit serves as a local HMI and soft PLC platform, reducing wiring to external monitors and shortening response times in automated production lines and standalone machines.
Visual output is delivered on a 12 in TFT panel with a 4:3 aspect ratio, a format that leaves legacy SCADA layouts unchanged when older CRT stations are replaced. The display has a native 800 × 600 resolution, permitting clear rendering of standard IEC 61131-3 programming dialogs without graphics acceleration. Operator input occurs through a touchscreen, eliminating separate keyboards and enabling glove-friendly presses during routine machine operation. The unit has 2 × 10/100/1000BASE-T interfaces for segmented Ethernet traffic and 4 × USB 2.0 ports for memory sticks, barcode scanners, service dongles, and other peripherals. Additional hardware access is available through one RS-232 serial link and a single DVI connector for remote display mirroring.
Power is supplied at 24 V DC, letting the panel share the same low-voltage rail as sensors and actuators inside the cabinet. The aluminum front and sheet steel rear housing reaches only 57 mm in installation depth, and its overall footprint is 330 × 275 × 58 mm, so it fits shallow doors without colliding with internal DIN rail components. The enclosure is rated Front IP65 / Rear IP20, meaning the display surface resists dust and water spray once seated in the 263 × 318 mm cutout, while the rear section relies on the cabinet for protection. A dedicated M4 ground terminal and an 8-pin power plug complete the mechanical interface and keep wiring straightforward during retrofit work.
