The CP6002-1008-0010 is an industrial panel PC designed by Beckhoff and belongs to the CP Panel PC Systems series. It is intended for front-panel installation in machines and operator stations. The unit integrates a computer, display, and touchscreen so machine operators can issue commands, monitor process values, and run visualization software directly at the production line.

To fit into cabinets, the device requires a cutout measuring 389 mm by 416.4 mm, after which the visible panel stands 403 mm high and 430.4 mm wide. The unit offers a display size of 15 in, giving operators ample workspace, and a native resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels for clear text and graphics. The screen employs TFT technology, which provides consistent brightness and color across wide viewing angles. A resistive touch interface is laminated over the glass, eliminating the need for external pointing devices, while a DIN 5-pin keyboard socket on the bezel supports occasional text entry. The front of the panel meets the IP65 protection class, blocking dust ingress and direct water jets when correctly mounted. The housing is made from aluminum, which provides mechanical rigidity without adding unnecessary mass.

The rear section accommodates the CP-Link video-extension interface through a BNC connector. This transmission link can span up to 100 m, allowing the computer unit to be located remotely in a control cabinet while the display remains on the machine. The panel depth is only 32 mm, so it occupies minimal space in crowded operator stations. Internally, the electronics tolerate up to 95% RH non-condensing humidity, supporting use in humid process areas. Although the front is sealed, the back is ventilated and therefore carries an IP20 rating, so it must be installed inside an enclosure for protection from airborne dust.
