The display section is a 12 in diagonal panel that uses a TFT substrate for consistent color and stable viewing angles. Graphics are rendered at 800 x 600 pixels, a resolution that balances detailed diagnostics with modest bandwidth over the CP-Link channel. User interaction occurs through a resistive touch screen, making membrane keys unnecessary and reducing sealing points on the front face. A maximum CP-Link cable length of 100 m lets the screen be located far from the host PC while maintaining signal integrity. Rear ingress protection is limited to IP20, which is appropriate because this side sits inside the sealed control cabinet. A keyboard connector on the front permits temporary attachment of an external keypad during setup or service access without breaching the enclosure. The shallow rear profile also makes it easier to fit the unit into doors or panels where internal clearance is limited by adjacent hardware.
