The CP6000-0001-0010 is an operator panel that Beckhoff includes in its CP Panel PC Systems series. As a panel PC, it combines display and control functions for industrial automation lines, where it presents machine data and accepts touch or external input for supervisory tasks. The unit connects to a host PC through the CP-Link interface, allowing the display to be mounted remotely while the computing hardware stays in a protected cabinet. This arrangement helps place the viewing surface close to the machine while keeping the main processing hardware away from dirt, vibration, and other conditions inside the work area.
The screen measures 10 in diagonally and renders at 640 x 480 pixels, which suits concise process visualizations and straightforward operator prompts. Video and power are carried over the CP-Link channel that terminates on 2 x BNC sockets, and this coaxial arrangement supports cable runs of up to 100 m between the panel and controller. No integrated keyboard is provided, so operators can rely on touchscreen dialogs or attach external input devices where needed. The enclosure is sealed to Front IP65 / Rear IP20, which allows washdown of the front bezel while the rear section remains suitable for a ventilated enclosure. To withstand plant vibration, the housing endures shocks of 5 G for 30 ms without functional loss, and the cabinet cutout measures 322 mm in height and 356 mm in width for secure mounting.
Overall panel size is 370 mm wide by 336 mm high, and the profile depth is only 32 mm, which helps preserve space inside shallow cabinet doors. When installed, ambient humidity can rise to 95% RH without causing condensation-related faults. The slim profile also helps where internal clearance is limited by wiring ducts, door stiffeners, or adjacent components. These dimensions and operating conditions suit distributed control stations where the display is placed at the machine and the main IPC remains mounted elsewhere inside the cabinet.
