Product Description:
The CP3924-0010 is a panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. Intended for operator stations on machinery and production lines, the unit combines a widescreen display with an integrated multitouch controller so that process data, alarms, and control commands are presented directly at the point of use. By using CP-Link 4 transmission, the display assembly can be mounted on the machine while the computing hardware remains in a protected cabinet, simplifying thermal management and cable routing in industrial automation environments.
Connectivity and electrical parameters are centered on an 8-pin M12 CP-Link 4 connector that carries video, USB, and power through one rugged interface. The link can be extended up to 100 m, allowing flexible placement of the panel relative to the control cabinet. Internal electronics are supplied at 24 VDC, and when paired with the CU8802 transmission module, the system draws approximately 40 W, allowing low-current power supplies to feed the display side. The front is sealed to IP65, so dust and water jets cannot reach the glass sensor area, while a 4-pin M12 plug rated at 16 A provides the incoming supply. A glass front bonded to an aluminum housing adds chemical resistance and dissipates heat without fans.
The assembly withstands shocks of 5 G for up to 30 ms, protecting internal boards during handling or machine impact. With the arm adapter fitted, the unit weighs 8.4 kg, making its mass an important consideration when selecting a support arm and mounting hardware. A cable with four 0.75 mm² conductors accommodates the required supply current without oversized conduits. Projected-capacitive touch recognition maintains responsiveness even through thin gloves, allowing operators to interact with the screen while wearing basic hand protection. Reliable operation is permitted at ambient humidity levels up to 95% RH, which helps maintain stable screen interaction in washdown or high-moisture areas.
