The CP3921-1085-0011 is a panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. As a combined display and computing node, it is installed on machinery to present process information, accept operator commands, and relay data to control networks. Its role in industrial automation is to merge visualization and local control functions in a sealed housing that can be placed close to production equipment.
Its display measures 21.5 inches and provides a full HD native resolution of 1920 x 1080, so on-screen graphics and parameter lists remain sharp even when viewed from a distance. A tempered glass front panel protects the capacitive stack, while the aluminum housing with an electrically insulating surface channels interference currents away from internal circuitry. The electronics are supplied by a 24 VDC line, and two +24 V contacts and two ground contacts are prewired in the rear so the power circuit can be looped through. The supply enters through a 4-pin M12 socket, and the cabinet must provide at least 4 mm² for the protective ground and up to 4 x 0.75 mm² for the load conductors. The housing has an IP65 rating on all sides, allowing washdown cleaning without moisture ingress.
During startup, the power input remains active as long as the plug voltage stays above 22 V, and the feed-through contacts can carry up to 16 A to supply downstream devices without separate terminals. The projected-capacitive sensor supports multi-finger touch (PCT) input, enabling gesture control for screens that require simultaneous axis jogging or recipe selection. Mechanical stability is specified for shocks up to 5 G, so the panel can be mounted on moving gantries or vibration-prone enclosures. Environmental endurance extends to ambient humidity levels of 95% without internal condensation, letting the unit operate in washdown zones and unconditioned production spaces.
