Product Description:
The CP3921-0010 is a Panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as a fully enclosed operator station, it merges computing power, display, and touch input for direct machine control and data visualization on the factory floor. By accepting fieldbus and Ethernet links through the CP-Link 4 interface, the unit enables distributed mounting on support arms while keeping the processing hardware close to the application.
Its CP-Link 4 transmission port is carried on an industrial 8-pin M12 socket. With shielded cabling, the link may span up to 100 m without repeaters, allowing remote arm installations over assembly cells. The cable can use a maximum conductor area of 4 x 0.75 mm², which aligns with standard flexible machine wiring. Internal electronics run from a nominal input of 24 VDC delivered through a dedicated power feed that terminates on a 4-pin M12 socket. The supply circuit is dimensioned for a continuous plug current of 16 A, supporting inrush from backlit displays and attached USB peripherals. A cast-aluminum housing with a protection rating of IP65 blocks dust and water jets, allowing the panel to be cleaned in place with moderate pressure spray. During low-frequency vibration between 10 and 58 Hz, the front-panel deflection is limited to 0.035 mm, which helps maintain touchscreen alignment.
For shock events, the enclosure tolerates acceleration peaks of 5 G lasting 30 ms, safeguarding solid-state drives mounted on the internal carrier. At frequencies from 58 to 500 Hz, vibration is held to 0.5 G, so mounting hardware does not loosen during continuous machine duty. When paired with the arm adapter, the assembly weighs 7.4 kg; using only the rear connection block reduces that mass to 6.6 kg, which allows different support-arm counterweight selections.
