Product Description:
The CP3919-1008-0011 belongs to the CP Panel PC Systems series produced by Beckhoff. This fanless unit integrates a 19-inch TFT and an embedded controller in a sealed enclosure, allowing it to serve as an operator interface and edge computer on automated lines. By combining visualization, soft PLC processing, and fieldbus communication in the same housing, it reduces cabinet space and simplifies wiring in production cells and machine tools. Its design focuses on front-side mounting with full sealing on the operator side so it can be placed directly on equipment rather than inside control cabinets.
The front surface is a single sheet of tempered glass over a 19 in active area, matched to an industrial display controller that renders at 1280 x 1024 pixels. This resolution matches the native 5:4 aspect ratio, helping graphics remain sharp without scaling artifacts. A projected capacitive touch layer is laminated beneath the glass to enable multi-finger operation through gloves or thin films. The housing is milled from aluminum, giving good heat conduction while limiting weight on the mounting arm. With a front-side sealing gasket, the unit achieves an IP65 protection rating against dust ingress and washdown exposure. Logic and backlight power are supplied from a single 24 VDC source, simplifying cable routing, and the rear panel includes provisions for a mounting arm so the panel can swing into ergonomic positions.
The mechanical design withstands factory disturbances. A tested shock load of 5 G acting for 30 ms and vibration levels of 0.5 G between 58 Hz and 500 Hz help protect internal boards against contact loss. The enclosure sealing also tolerates ambient humidity up to 95% without condensation. Four tapped holes sized 4 x M6 are provided on the rear plate so that brackets can be fastened without additional drilling. These characteristics help keep the panel functional when exposed to high moisture, dynamic mounting positions, and short-duration impacts.
