The CP3918-1400-0010 is a Panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff and included in the CP Panel PC Systems series. It serves as an integrated operator workstation that combines display, touch input, and computing hardware for supervisory control and data acquisition on the plant floor. By running over the vendor's CP-Link transmission line, the unit allows remote mounting of its display and simplifies control-cabinet wiring while retaining full graphical and multitouch functionality for machine interfaces. This arrangement helps when the display must be installed on a door, pendant, or support arm while the related control hardware remains inside an enclosure.

The unit integrates an 18.5-inch widescreen TFT with a native 1366 x 768 resolution, enabling operators to view dashboards and status pages without scaling artifacts. Projected-capacitive touch technology recognizes multiple fingers for gesture input, and the system draws power from 22-30 VDC, allowing installation on common 24 V control circuits.
