Product Description:
The Beckhoff CP3918-0010 has an 18.5-inch multi-finger display meant for user interaction in light industrial applications. This model belongs to the CP Panel PC Series and allows a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The model also features CP-Link 4 connection with data transfer capability of up to 100 Mbit per second and DVI for supporting various input devices. The device is manufactured in a sturdy aluminum casing and glass in front making it both appealing and strong as well as meeting the IP65 standards for water and dust ingress protection.
Providing a rotatable and tiltable mounting arm adapter, the CP3918-0010 can be installed at a maximum distance of 100m without modifying the position of the unit. The power supply is further optional at 24V according to the installation requirements. There are also two round connectors M12 with IP65 which is used to connect different devices into this and other devices.
In order to be able to make it safe for users, the CP3918-0010 apart from blocking the electric current requires protective earthing to eliminate any dangerous touch voltages. Also, per EN 60204-1, protective earthing is required when a device has any of its dimensions exceeding 50mm x 50mm, is mobile enough to be handled or Barre touch and there lies the danger of active parts being in contact with people or there is such a possibility. It is through connecting the protective earth conductor PE that a safe protective earthing is formed which considerably minimizes any hazards making it possible to operate safely in different environments.
