The CP3916-0010 is a panel PC unit produced by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines an embedded industrial computer with a touchscreen front end so that machine operators can issue commands and visualize process data directly on the factory floor. By housing the computing hardware inside an enclosure that mounts to an arm adapter or a support column, the device eliminates separate control boxes and shortens signal paths between the human-machine interface and connected I/O.

Electrical supply parameters define how the unit is wired. A nominal input of 24 VDC keeps the internal power rails within tolerance, while the circuitry remains active down to a minimum of 22 VDC to ride through brief voltage dips. Power enters through a 4-pin M12 socket that can carry up to 16 A; the plug accepts conductors up to 4 × 0.75 mm² so standard control-cabinet cabling can be used. Communication over CP-Link 4 is routed through an 8-pin M12 socket, and linked operator stations can be placed as far as 100 m from a host controller without repeaters. For removable media or service tools, the front USB port sustains a transfer rate of 100 Mbit/s. Continuous operation is verified for vibration levels up to 0.5 G with a displacement of 0.035 mm, covering typical arm swivel motion. An arm adapter mass of 5.3 kg and a connection block mass of 4.5 kg are factored into load calculations for support arms. The sealed enclosure tolerates ambient humidity up to 95%, preventing moisture ingress during wash-down cycles.
