The CP3916-0010 touchscreen is of 15.6 inches size which provides an interactive interface to users. This panel PC is classified as a CP panel PC and has an IP65 rating suggesting that it is dust and water proof making it ideal for harsh environments.
The CP3916-0010 employs CP-Link 4 technology allowing transmission over a distance of 100meters using a Cat.6A cable. The operating temperatures of the equipment are from 0-50 and additional 24 V DC power source is needed depending on the type of transmitter module selected. It features two round M12 connectors for CP-Link 4 and optional power supply, this increases the possible application of the device in different situations.
In order to ensure proper functionality and safety of the design, it is necessary to ground the panel PC appropriately. Grounding also serves a useful purpose of diminishing the potential difference and shielding uncontrolled currents safely into the earth so that there are no destructive touch voltages and interference of electromagnetic waves which in this case is so called electrical noise. The PE connecting the earth protection on the back side of the device both captures all safety earthed and earthed equipment and earthy conductors for functioning. To create proper ground connection, it is preferred that thin insulation strands up to cross-section around 4 mm² or a flat conductor is used in such a way that the complete cross-section of the conductor is almost not influenced.
