Product Description:
The CP3915-1043-0011 is a panel PC built by Beckhoff as part of the CP Panel PC Systems series. The product joins a high-brightness display with an embedded controller, forming a compact human-machine interface for industrial automation cells. Operators use it to initiate machine sequences, acknowledge alarms, and monitor process variables directly at the installation point. By combining computing power, networking, and visualization in one sealed package, the unit removes the need for a separate PC inside the cabinet and shortens cable runs to local I/O.
The visualization hardware centers on a 15-inch screen arranged in a 4:3 format, a size that matches legacy controls while keeping modern clarity. Graphics are rendered at 1024 x 768 pixels, which aligns pixel boundaries with standard SCADA symbol libraries and reduces scaling artifacts. Input is detected through a projected-capacitive (PCT) sensor set behind a scratch-resistant glass front. That front sheet bonds to an aluminum rear housing; together they enable an IP65 protection rating so dust, coolants, and cleaning fluids do not enter the panel. The materials also dissipate heat without fans, keeping the internal solid-state components within their specified temperature envelope.
The panel PC includes power and mounting features suited for plant-floor deployment. The logic board draws power from a 24 VDC source delivered through a 4-pin M12 connector; voltage drops down to 22 V are accepted at the plug. That circular connector carries up to 16 A, and its terminals accommodate field wiring of 4 × 0.75 mm² conductors. The housing fastens to a mounting arm, allowing rotation and tilt without opening a cabinet door. During transport or service motion the assembly withstands shocks of 5 G for 30 ms, protecting the display and storage media from inadvertent impact damage.
