Product Description:
The CP3915-0010 is a fanless panel PC developed by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as a combined control and visualization unit, the model integrates directly with machine-mounted EtherCAT I/O stations through a single CP-Link cable. The unit’s projected capacitive screen supports multi-finger touch, making it suitable for HMI tasks where operators need gesture input without mechanical keys.
The panel routes its video, USB and power signals through a CP-Link interface that terminates in an 8-pin M12 Socket; this sealed connector allows field wiring without a cabinet. Data and supply can be extended up to 100 m, enabling remote mounting on moving gantries. Internal power regulation is based on a nominal supply of 24 VDC, while startup is possible as low as 22 V. The incoming energy is delivered through a 4-pin M12 power connector rated for 16 A, and the housing achieves a protection rating of IP65 on all exposed sides. Wiring for the power input accepts up to 4 conductors of 0.75 mm², so standard flexible machine cable can be used. The projected-capacitive touchscreen recognizes simultaneous inputs for menu navigation and machine acknowledgment.
The unit supports continuous operation up to 50 °C ambient and in non-condensing atmospheres with relative humidity as high as 95%. During transport or seismic events, the electronics withstand sinusoidal vibration of 0.035 mm between 10 and 58 Hz and 0.5 G above 58 Hz; shock events up to 5 G for 30 ms are also tolerated without data loss. The touch glass maintains accuracy under these conditions because it has no moving parts. With the connector block installed, the device weighs 3.9 kg, allowing direct mounting on support arms without counterbalance. These mechanical characteristics make the panel suited for packaging machines, material handling stations, and other installations where machines cycle quickly and space for control hardware is limited.
