Product Description:
The CP3915-0000 is a 15-inch Panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines an industrial touchscreen, computing hardware, and field wiring terminations in one enclosure so it can serve as the local HMI and control point on automated lines, machines, or skid-mounted equipment. The panel uses projected-capacitive multi-finger touch technology to register operator input even through thin gloves, and its aluminum housing is sealed on the front for direct mounting to cabinets or support arms in production areas.
The device is powered through a 4-pin M12 connector and accepts a regulated input of 22-30 VDC; the plug is rated for 16 A to cover inrush and backlight demand. Front sealing meets IP65, preventing dust ingress and water jets from interfering with electronics. Continuous service is specified for ambient temperatures from 0 to +55 °C, while the electronics remain functional at relative humidity levels up to 95% RH without condensation. For distributed displays, the integrated graphics interface supports DVI cabling up to 50 m, and a matching USB-E extender can carry peripheral signals the same distance. Field wiring enters through spring clamps that accept a maximum conductor cross-section of 4 × 0.75 mm², allowing local loop-through of sensor power.
Mechanical resilience supports storage between -20 to +65 °C so the panel can be kept in unconditioned warehouses before installation. In operation, it tolerates shocks of up to 5 G for 30 ms and endures sinusoidal vibration at 10–58 Hz with an amplitude of 0.035 mm; in the higher 58–500 Hz band the limit is 0.5 G. The complete unit, including its removable connection block, weighs 3.9 kg, which supports articulated arm mounting while still helping damp high-frequency vibration.
