Product Description:
The CP3913-0000 industrial panel PC is supplied by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed for installation directly on a machine, it combines processing electronics, a display, and field wiring in one enclosure to perform visualization tasks and local control functions in automated production lines. Its sealed housing is suitable for production areas exposed to splashing. The platform also supports remote signal extensions over DVI and USB-E, allowing the operator station to be positioned away from the main control cabinet without requiring additional converters.
The unit operates from a nominal input of 24 VDC, while the control cabinet must provide at least 22 VDC at the plug to compensate for voltage drop along the supply cable. The power connection permits a maximum plug current of 16 A. Power enters through a four-pin M12 socket, and the grounding connection requires a conductor with a cross-sectional area of at least 4 mm². Internal terminals accommodate field wiring with a conductor arrangement of up to 4 x 0.75 mm², which is compatible with common flexible control cables. The enclosure carries an IP65 protection rating, allowing the front surface to resist dust and low-pressure water jets. Electromagnetic compatibility includes an emission standard of EN 61000-6-4 and an immunity standard of EN 61000-6-2. These standards support operation near industrial equipment that can produce electromagnetic interference, including frequency drives and welding systems.
The DVI output and USB-E channel support connection distances of up to 50 m. The USB-E extension uses a CAT 5 cable and an eight-pin interface to connect compatible peripheral devices at the remote operator station. This arrangement allows the display and input devices to remain accessible even when the associated control equipment is installed in a separate cabinet. The projected-capacitive touchscreen uses PCT technology and supports multi-finger input through thin gloves. Its touch surface avoids the membrane wear associated with analog overlay designs, making it appropriate for frequent operator interaction. A four-pin M12 power connector is factory installed to simplify system setup and cable connection. The connection block includes strain relief, and the complete assembly has a mass of 3.1 kg, reducing the load placed on support arms or pendant mounting systems.
