Product Description:
The CP3907-0000 is a panel PC from the CP Panel PC Systems series manufactured by Beckhoff. It integrates display electronics, a touchscreen, and an industrial motherboard inside one housing, giving machine builders a compact HMI and control node. Installed on an arm or control cabinet door, it provides real-time visualization, parameter entry, and data logging directly at the production line while linking to higher-level PLCs or MES servers over Ethernet.
Its front surface carries an IP65 rating that shields internal circuitry from dust and water spray. Power arrives at 24 VDC through a keyed 4-pin M12 connector that resists accidental disconnection. The screen uses a Multi-finger PCT sensor, so the operator can issue simultaneous gestures for zoom and rotate commands. Remote video transmission is handled by a DVI Extended port operating over passive copper up to 50 m, which lets the computer be rack-mounted while only the display sits on the machine frame. External peripherals attach via USB Extended; the USB-e signal is carried on CAT 5 cable with the same reach, keeping full-speed bandwidth without active repeaters. An aluminum housing removes heat by conduction, eliminating fans and reducing maintenance.
The unit tolerates mechanical stress common on factory floors, surviving shocks of 5 G for 30 ms and continuous vibration between 10–58 Hz at 0.035 mm amplitude, rising to 0.5 G up to 500 Hz. Electronics remain stable in environments with relative humidity up to 95% non-condensing. Both the extended DVI and USB links maintain signal integrity over their supported cable lengths, aided by shielded lines and differential signaling. With a mass of only 1.8 kg, the panel mounts easily on light brackets, and its sealed design supports outdoor stations when paired with sunshades and temperature-regulated enclosures.
