Product Description:
The CP3724-0010 is a 24-inch panel PC produced by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as a combined operator interface and edge computer, it mounts on the front of a machine and presents process data, alarms, and control dialogs directly to plant personnel. In an industrial automation line, the unit replaces separate monitors and box PCs, simplifying wiring and allowing controller, visualization, and data-logging tasks to run on one hardened platform.
The screen has a native resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels across a 24-inch diagonal, and a multi-touch projected-capacitive layer lets users pinch, scroll, and acknowledge prompts while wearing thin gloves. For real-time networking, the system integrates an Intel i210 gigabit controller that supports 100/1000 Mbit/s over an RJ45 Push-Pull jack. The mechanical latch secures the cable against vibration, and link lengths can reach 100 m without repeaters. The front panel carries an IP65 rating, so dust and water jets cannot penetrate the housing when it is fixed to a sealed cabinet door. Internally mounted components tolerate sinusoidal vibration between 10 Hz and 58 Hz at 0.035 mm displacement and between 58 Hz and 500 Hz at 0.5 G, helping prevent display flicker or data errors on moving equipment.
Control cabinets feed the electronics with a stabilized 22–30 VDC supply, and the fanless design operates continuously from 0 to +45 °C while tolerating storage temperatures from -20 °C to +65 °C. A hardware-based fTPM 2.0 secure element signs boot code and encrypts credentials so unauthorized images cannot be loaded when the PC is serviced. Shock resistance is rated at 5 G for 30 ms, protecting SSDs and soldered memory during transport or accidental impacts. The unit has an overall mass of 10.1 kg, which must be considered when selecting the cabinet door and mounting hardware. Clamp brackets hold the front panel securely in its installed position.
