Product Description:
The CP3719-1600-0020 is a fanless Panel PC supplied by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as an operator terminal and control node, it combines a multitouch display with integrated processing to run TwinCAT or third-party automation software and mounts directly on a machine arm. By merging display, control, and network interfaces in one housing, the unit provides decentralized visualization and real-time command execution in industrial cells.
An EtherCAT runtime on the device can refresh process data in ≤1 ms, making it suitable for motion or tightly coupled I/O tasks. Field connectivity is handled by an Intel i210 Ethernet controller that negotiates at 100/1000 Mbit/s through a push-pull RJ45 socket; the link can extend up to 100 m without repeaters. The panel operates from a nominal 24 V DC supply delivered through a 12-pin round power connector, and the front and rear of the enclosure are rated IP65. A projected-capacitive screen accepts multi-finger touch input, allowing gesture control even when operators wear thin gloves. Up to four optional communication or fieldbus modules can be added through internal slots, so the platform can accommodate additional plant requirements while maintaining a single cable for power and Ethernet.
The housing is milled from aluminum and has an electrically insulating surface that eliminates the need for separate grounding straps. Its installed mass is 8.6 kg, allowing installation on a 48 mm mounting tube that supports full rotation across a ±165° swivel range. An onboard secure element supports fTPM 2.0, providing a hardware root of trust for platform security. Four additional interfaces, such as serial or USB connections, can be selected when ordering the panel. Its 12-pin connector routes all supply conductors through one connection, simplifying cable management in articulated mounting arms.
