The CP3719-0020 is a panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as a combined visualization terminal and control node, it mounts on machine frames to deliver local HMI functions, motion commands, and data exchange for industrial automation cells. The unit uses an aluminum housing with a front panel sealed to IP65, allowing operators to interact with equipment in washdown or dust-laden areas. Its integrated display and multitouch surface replace discrete pushbuttons and allow parameter entry, status monitoring, and recipe handling directly beside the process.
The front panel carries a 19-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 1280 × 1024 pixels, giving operators a detailed view of process graphics without external monitors. Input is registered through a multi-finger touch sensor, making two-hand gestures available for zooming, scrolling, or safety-related acknowledgments. The electronics operate from a nominal 24 VDC supply connected through a 12-pin round connector that combines control and protective earth contacts in one fitting. The assembly has a shock resistance of 5 G and weighs 8.6 kg, allowing it to be mounted on a suitable articulating arm. These physical features support direct interaction with machine controls while keeping the display and computing hardware in one enclosure.
Networking is handled by an Intel i210 controller connected to a push-pull RJ45 port. With appropriately rated Ethernet cabling, the network link can extend up to 100 m between the machine and the switch cabinet. For cybersecurity, the motherboard integrates an fTPM 2.0 security component, while runtime data is stored on a removable CFast card for convenient data access. The swing-arm interface accepts tubes with a diameter of 48 mm and permits ±165° of rotation, allowing the screen position to be adjusted for different viewing angles. The panel PC can operate at up to 95% relative humidity without condensation, supporting use in damp production areas while protecting its internal electronics from moisture exposure.
