The CP3716-1600-0020 is a 16-inch Panel PC supplied by Beckhoff within the CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed as both a visualization node and a control platform, it brings Windows-based HMI functions and real-time automation tasks directly to the machine arm. The unit installs on a swing arm so operators can monitor production, adjust parameters, and acknowledge alarms at the point of use without walking to a central cabinet. It integrates industrial computing hardware with a rugged touchscreen, eliminating the need for separate panel monitors and embedded computers.
Its power section accepts a nominal input of 24 VDC and tolerates input levels from 22 VDC to 30 VDC, allowing connection to common direct-current busbars. Network traffic is handled by an Intel i210 controller that transfers data at 1000 Mbit/s, with cable runs of up to 100 m to the next network switch. A fanless aluminum housing dissipates heat while limiting electromagnetic emissions. The 48 mm arm-mount tube routes signal and power lines through its hollow center to keep wiring protected.
