Product Description:
The CP3716-1058-0010 is a Panel PC from Beckhoff’s CP Panel PC Systems series. Designed for direct installation on plant equipment, it combines a display, touch input, and PC-class processing so a machine can execute control logic and visualization without a separate cabinet-mounted computer. This integration reduces wiring and places the operator interface at the point of use in industrial automation.
An Intel i210 network controller drives two Gigabit ports that operate at 100/1000 Mbit/s, allowing high-speed communication with controllers or enterprise networks. The front is sealed to the IP65 standard, and the cast-aluminum housing aids heat dissipation while resisting corrosion. Electrical power is accepted through a single connector rated for conductors up to 1.5 mm² and must be supplied at 22–30 VDC, which matches common 24 V control buses. Reliable operation is supported at temperatures from 0 to +45 °C, so the unit can be mounted on enclosures or robot arms that remain within this range. Multi-finger touch technology enables gesture input even when operators wear thin gloves. The embedded fTPM 2.0 secure element supports credential storage for authentication and data encryption.
The device weighs 6.8 kg, which keeps the load low on a support arm clamped to a 48 mm mounting tube. Once installed, the panel can be rotated through a ±165° swivel range so users can position the screen without tools. The device tolerates shocks up to 5 G for 30 ms and vibrations from 10 to 58 Hz at 0.035 mm or from 58 to 500 Hz at 0.5 G, protecting the solid-state storage and touch electronics during machine cycles. Long-term storage is permitted from −20 to +65 °C. The nonvolatile security module retains cryptographic keys while the unit is powered down or stored within this temperature range.
