The CP3715-0010 is a panel PC manufactured by Beckhoff in the CP Panel PC Systems series. This unit combines an industrial display, an integrated computer, and fieldbus interfaces so it can run HMI software and deterministic control tasks directly at the machine level. By hosting TwinCAT or a similar runtime environment, it executes control logic locally while presenting operators with real-time process data and controls. This integrated arrangement reduces the need for a separate computer and display within the control system.
The front carries a 15-inch TFT screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio and a native resolution of 1024 × 768 pixels. A multi-finger projected-capacitive overlay registers simultaneous touch points and supports gesture input. Networking is handled by an Intel i210 controller connected to an RJ45 port, and the network segment can extend up to 100 m over standard CAT-rated cabling. When the EtherCAT stack is enabled, the device can exchange process images with field nodes in 1 ms or less, allowing it to synchronize drives and remote I/O without additional gateways. A 24 VDC power input supplies the internal electronics and supports integration into common industrial control cabinets. Cryptographic keys are stored through an fTPM 2.0 security function, supporting system authentication and signed software images.
