The Beckhoff CP2924-0000 is an advanced ergonomically designed Multi-Touch built in Control Panel with 24” diagonal screen of 1920 x 1080 Pixels. The latest fully functional industrial Control panel that is interactive in nature comes with a multi-fingered touch screen for ease of use and functionality. It has an aluminum housing and a glass front for modern and robust design.
While the CP2924-0000 has IP65 protection in the front and IP20 rating in the rear, means the panel is equipped to handle dust and moisture messy operations. It works from 0 to 55 °C, which means effective working even under tough conditions. The panel is however able to take advantage of various connection technologies including DVI-E and USB-E at distances of 50 meters to the devices to be linked up to such systems. It has other interfaces like RJ45 for the USB E 2.0 (US52645), input DVI, and two additional USB 3.0 for peripheral attachments and one USB 3.0 input.
This is made easier as pull-out clamping levers secure the control unit allowing it to be fitted in a swift manner. The standard front material can be aluminum however a stainless-steel optional front with a blue silicone seal is available without the risk of collapse. It also allows for connection of equipment through USB direct connection to the control panel up to 5 meters and up to 50 meters using DVI-E connectors. The control panel includes inscribed special command keys whose outputs are equipped with LED indicators that may be subjected to the control of the TwinCAT automation software, in order to widen the scope of automation over complex tasks.
