The CP2915-1018-0010 is a panel-mount industrial computer manufactured by Beckhoff and supplied under the CP Panel PC Systems series. As a combined display and control node, the unit serves as a local human-machine interface for PLC visualizations and production commands. Its internal PC hardware exchanges data with higher-level controllers while providing direct access to machine functions on the production floor.

The aluminum front meets a protection class of IP65, so dust and low-pressure water jets cannot enter the display area when the unit is installed in an enclosure door. Internal electronics operate from a 22–30 V DC supply, and the power connection accepts conductors up to 1.5 mm² through a 16 A plug connector. Continuous service is supported from 0 to +50 °C; within this range, the capacitive PCT touch screen remains responsive, and the convection-cooled chassis avoids thermal throttling. Ambient relative humidity may rise to 95% without condensation, reducing the risk of moisture-related leakage on the printed circuit board. When the optional CP-Link extender is used, the panel can be located up to 100 m from the control cabinet, providing flexibility when positioning the visualization station away from electrical noise sources.

Video and input-device data, including traffic from two USB 2.0 ports, traverse the CP-Link channel at 100 Mbit/s, eliminating the need for separate keyboard, video, and mouse extenders. During transportation or accidental impact, the housing withstands shocks of 5 G for 30 ms. The rear housing carries an IP20 rating because it is protected by the surrounding cabinet. The unit has a total mass of 3.7 kg, which supports manageable panel installation while helping dampen vibration. Up to two external USB peripherals can be powered directly by the system. The unit can also be stored at temperatures down to -20 °C without damage.
