The CP2915-1013-0000 is a panel-mount PC produced by Beckhoff for the CP Panel PC Systems series. It combines an industrial computer and a touchscreen monitor in a single housing so machine builders can run TwinCAT or other automation software directly on the equipment. The unit is intended for installation in the front door of a control cabinet, giving operators local access to visualization, parameter entry, and diagnostics while the internal PC communicates with fieldbus networks.
The unit has a 15-inch display with a native resolution of 1024 × 768 and a classic 4:3 aspect ratio. It accepts image data through a DVI Extended interface that supports uncompressed signals and remote graphics cards. A projected-capacitive surface enables multi-finger touch operation (PCT), allowing gestures to replace hardware keys. The aluminum front bezel has an ingress protection rating of IP65, shielding the screen and gasketed USB cover from dust and water jets during washdown. Behind the front bezel, the rear section has an IP20 rating and includes a spring-loaded terminal that accepts wiring from 0.08 to 1.5 mm². A single USB Type-A receptacle accommodates service drives, while two downstream USB ports are located inside the housing. An RJ45-style adapter routes USB signals over twisted-pair wiring to an external junction, extending peripheral connections beyond the panel face.
The electronics operate from a regulated 24 VDC supply, and boot and standby functions remain stable down to the 22 V brownout threshold. A screw-lock plug rated at 16 A carries the supply and secures the conductors during vibration. Graphics cables can span up to 50 m without repeaters, allowing the host PC to be installed in a protected rack away from the display. The typical installation weight is 3.7 kg, so the panel can be mounted on light-gauge cabinet doors without additional reinforcement. The DVI Extended port is positioned beside the power entry, simplifying cable routing within the enclosure.
